Bright Start Child Development Center was established in 2004 and has been serving Sarasota families for over 20 years. We are licensed for 32 children and centrally located off of South Tuttle Ave, between Hyde Park Street and Arlington Street.

We are proud to hold a High CLASS® score from the Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County, reflecting our commitment to high-quality teacher-child interactions and instructional excellence. Bright Start has also earned a designation of Excellent through Florida's Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Education Program — a distinction that recognizes our dedication to providing outstanding early learning experiences.

All teachers are certified in CPR/First Aid.

Our Center

At Bright Start we understand that children learn best in an age-appropriate environment that is designed to meet their needs. We take special pride in our classroom spaces and take great care to ensure our spaces encourage exploration and learning. Our center has three large separate classrooms. Our spacious playground provides ample space to run, many pieces of climbing equipment, swings and a sand box.
